Approved Conceptual Schemes

Conceptual Schemes that have been adopted by Rocky View County.

The purpose of the Conceptual Scheme is to provide a non-statutory framework, pursuant to the Municipal Government Act and the Subdivision & Development Regulations to:

  • Provide a framework for the subsequent subdivision and/or development of land within the Municipal Development Plan.
  • Establish a potential plan of future subdivision or development that applies to a specific parcel of land.
  • Ensure that any subdivision under review does not prohibit the ability of remnant parcels, or adjacent parcels, to be further subdivided in the future.
