Funerals and Memorial Services

Details and contacts for making funeral arrangements.

In addition to contacting family and friends, one of your first phone calls should be to a licensed funeral home. Funeral homes provide expertise and guidance during this very difficult time. Among other things, funeral homes can help with:

  • transporting the body
  • obtaining a death certificate
  • selecting a casket or urn
  • arranging the funeral, memorial service and burial service
  • preparing the obituary
  • helping to notify the deceased's employer, attorney, insurance company and banks
  • offering grief support or directing you to other services

While the Rocky View County cemetery services does not arrange funerals, we do have a chapel and crematorium which is leased to a local company, Choice Memorial Cremation and Funeral Services.

Below is a small list, for reference, of companies and contact information that may be valuable to you when planning a funeral. Please contact them directly for more information on the services they provide.
