This is not a County-led project. This engagement opportunity is being delivered by the applicant and Rocky View County is sharing this notice for awareness.
The open house is one step in a broader review process. The proposal will continue to be considered through the County's review process, which will include a public presentation at a Council Public Hearing.

Background
At the July 8, 2025, meeting, Council approved the terms of reference for a developer led and developer funded area structure plan (ASP) to be called “Wild Rose Power Hub Area Structure Plan”. The objective of the ASP is to outline the land use and servicing policies for the site, which would be primarily developed as a data centre.
The site is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.21 miles) east of the city of Calgary limits, and approximately 2 kilometres (1.24 miles) southwest of the Hamlet of Langdon. The subject site is along Township Road 232 and 1.6 kilometres (1 mile) west of Highway 797. The extent of the area covers three quarter sections, measuring approximately 194 hectares (479 acres) in area and legally described as:
- SW-09-23-27W04;
- SE-09-23-27W04; and
- NE-09-23-27W04.
