- Review the inspection requirements and other pre-booking information before requesting an inspection.
- Please submit your inspection request at least three days prior to the preferred inspection date.
- Inspections requested after 2:00pm will not be scheduled for the following business day
- Please ensure the inspector has full access to the project/site on the date booked– provide any access or gate codes if required.
- A copy of the approved building permit plans must be on site and available for the inspection.
- Cancellations of booked inspections must be submitted no later than 12 p.m. the day before the scheduled inspection. Late cancellations are subject to additional inspection fees.
- Outstanding inspection fees must be paid prior to booking any further inspections on the project.
Request or manage your inspections by logging on to your MyBuild Portal account
Once you have registered and completed the verification process, please email a request to buildinginspections@rockyview.ca with the permit numbers you would like added to your myBuild account.
Permits will not be automatically linked to your myBuild account if you have registered after permit issuance.
Cancel an Inspection
