Doing Business with Rocky View County

The County ensures that their procurement process is conducted in a fair and transparent manner. 

Rocky View County invites any interested vendor who can fulfill bid requirements to respond to advertised opportunities through Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC). Interested vendors should check APC regularly for open opportunities. Registration as a vendor on APC is free.  

Procurements of goods, services and construction are subject to regional and national trade agreements such as the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and internal governance in accordance with Rocky View County’s purchasing policy.

How to Become a Vendor

Rocky View County generates multiple year Master Service Agreements in different categories through the RFX process. The county reaches out to vendors for quotes when doing business below trade agreement threshold values. Trade agreement threshold information can be found on Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC).

Any interested vendors that need more information, can connect with the County Procurement team at purchasing@rockyview.ca

All vendors working with the County must adhere to the County's Health and Safety standards. The County may require a WCB Clearance letter, certificate of insurance naming Rocky View County as a "certificate holder" or "additional insured". In the case of Construction contracts, Certificate of Recognition (COR), Bid security and industry certifications may also be required.
