Supporting Studies

Background

On May 20, 2025, Council approved the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Kineticor Area Structure Plan (ASP). The new ASP will provide an overarching plan for a new data centre complex, which is anticipated to accommodate multiple data centre facilities and a supporting 900 MW Power Generation Facility. The subject site consists of seven quarter sections, measuring approximately 453 hectares. The project is a developer-led initiative, with Kineticor Asset Management as the developer, supported by B&A Studios and Cassa Development Services.
