Highway 1 and Range Road 33 Interchange Construction Update

Planned girder placement work has been delayed due to weather conditions, including high winds and forecasted snow.

What to Expect

When work begins, the following traffic impacts are expected:

• Update - Highway westbound interchange ramp onto Range Road 33 is reopened with no night closure restrictions
• Update - Range Road 33 highway exit ramp to Calgary will have overnight closures between 8:00pm and 5:00am on May 7^th and May 8^th.
• No detours will be in effect during daytime hours
• Highway 1 will remain open in both directions, with possible delays overnight
• Local traffic at Range Road 33 may be detoured via Range Road 31 and Highway 22

Previous notices also indicated temporary overnight traffic crossovers on Highway 1 to support bridge construction activities.
