Planned girder placement work has been delayed due to weather conditions, including high winds and forecasted snow.
What to Expect
- When work begins, the following traffic impacts are expected:
- Overnight work between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
- Highway 1 will remain open in both directions, with reduced speeds and possible delay
- Temporary detours will be in place for local traffic at Range Road 33
- Detour routes are expected to include Range Road 31 and Highway 22
- No detours are expected during daytime hours
Previous notices also indicated temporary overnight traffic crossovers on Highway 1 to support bridge construction activities.
