September 19 Day of Mourning

Rocky View County has chosen to follow the Provincial Government and will remain open on Monday September 19.
The life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II was one of public service. We will commemorate her by continuing to serve our residents, businesses, and communities through these times.
Mourning is very personal, and we anticipate individuals may want to mark Her Majesty’s State Funeral in their own way. We encourage residents to sign a condolence book, watch a memorial service, and/or consider donating to a charity of choice or to one of the many Canadian charities championed by Her late Majesty, such as the Canadian Red Cross Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
