Bring your own shovel, gloves, and containers to the Bragg Creek Transfer Site on Saturday, May 9 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to scoop some free compost for your garden.
This event is first come, first served, while supplies last. There is a limit of 80 litres of compost per household - equal to approximately two large plastic totes or four 5-gallon pails. A little goes a long way as compost must be mixed with regular soil for your garden to benefit from all those extra nutrients.
Please note that shovels and containers will not be provided on site and attendants will not be able to help with loading.
