Approximately 350 metres of Boyce Ranch Road is proposed for surface reconstruction. Historically, Boyce Ranch Road was maintained using an oil-treated surface. Rocky View County no longer utilizes oil-treated road programs as part of its current maintenance practices. Administration has therefore been evaluating alternative surface materials that provide improved performance while remaining cost-effective and environmentally responsible. The project will provide an opportunity to implement a modern road surface treatment and evaluate its long-term performance.
