Rocky View County Announces Mr. Brian Henderson as New Chief Operating Officer

Rocky View County is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Brian Henderson as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective November 24, 2025. Mr. Henderson will provide strategic oversight of the County’s Infrastructure Services Division, leading integrated efforts in infrastructure planning, operations, and service delivery to support the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of Rocky View County.
Mr. Henderson brings extensive municipal leadership experience, most recently serving as Chief Administrative Officer for Wheatland County since 2019. Over a career spanning more than a decade in local government within the Calgary region, he has led key initiatives in strategic planning, fiscal responsibility, and capital investment. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), he is recognized for strong financial acumen, a collaborative leadership style, and an unwavering commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
