Rocky View Volunteer Fire Fighters Keep the Kiddos Kool

It’s the dogdays of summer, kids aren’t thinking about school when they are busy playing outside in the sun and having the time of their lives!

On Wednesday, August 16, Synergy, an organization committed to offering a summer program for the youth in Langdon, wrapped up their day with pancake lunch, some outside games, and social time, but with a refreshing twist. The local fight department, Rocky View Fire Services, came out with a splash. The crew managed to “cool" the kids off with their hoses. Needless to say, they won the water fight. The kids tried hard to cool the crew off as well. Good effort made kids!

These are the moments the kids will remember about summer. Thank you to Synergy for making this event possible; and huge thank you to the fire fighters that took the time to put so many smiles on the kid’s faces and help make our community a great place to live.
