At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Monday September 30, 2024, Rocky View County Fire was notified of a gas well fire north of Cochrane, 271400 and Range Rd 40.
The energy company is responding to the fire. Rocky View County remains on stand-by. As of 5:00 p.m. no evacuation order has been issued.
There is no present danger to area residents at this time. If things change we will provide an update.
