AgKnow is a network of mental health resources specifically designed for farmers and the unique challenges they face. Their long-term goal is to build more resilient farm communities and reduce the stigma around mental health. Resources available to farmers include an anonymous self check-in tool, a network of vetted therapists, and educational workshops.
AgKnow recognizes that not all therapists understand agriculture or the realities of farm life. To be part of the AgKnow network, therapists are individually vetted and must have a demonstrated connection to agriculture, either through their own background or experience working with farm clients. Each therapist profile includes details such as service areas, direct billing options, sliding-scale fees, and areas of specialty. Many therapists offer virtual sessions, and all provide online booking to make accessing support as easy as possible.
In addition to providing farm-focused mental health resources, AgKnow works directly with producers to conduct research on farm mental health. This research helps raise awareness and continually improve the resources they offer.
