Non-profit organizations that enhance the social well-being and improve the quality of life of individuals and families in Rocky View County are encouraged to apply for Special Project Funding.
Through the Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) program, organizations can apply for up to $7,500 for one-time, short-term, or capacity-building projects.
The funding can be used for programs and projects that support families, strengthen connections, build resilience, boost social wellness, and help residents feel supported, connected, and included.
Rocky View County provides FCSS grants to community agencies that deliver these important programs and services.
Priority areas for the FCSS include preventative programs and services for mental health support, seniors support, and children, youth, and family support.
Some examples of programs currently supported by FCSS funding include Bearspaw Community Association / Lifestyle Centre youth programming, Bragg Creek Community Association’s Rumble & Roar drop-in play program, and Langdon OK Seniors Club programming.
A full list of funded programs is available on the Social Services webpage.
Applications for FCSS Special Project Funding will be reviewed and funds will be distributed in March and June.
For more information, visit the FCSS Funding webpage, reach out to fcss@rockyview.ca, or call 403-230-1401 and ask to speak to the FCSS Coordinator.
