Alberta Open Farm Days is returning for its 14th annual event, inviting farms, ranches, and food-based businesses across the province to open their gates and share their stories with the public. This province-wide, two-day event offers Albertans a unique opportunity to experience agriculture firsthand, connect with local producers, and learn where their food comes from.
Taking place on August 15 and 16, 2026, Open Farm Days offers participants a chance to showcase their operation, build meaningful connections, and highlight the important role agriculture plays in everyday life. Hosts are encouraged to create engaging, educational experiences such as farm tours, demonstrations, tastings, or hands on activities that reflect their operation and expertise.
Registration is open to a wide range of participants, including farms, ranches, markets, food producers, tourism operators, and community organizations.
The deadline to register is April 30, 2026.
