Agriculture Master Plan Engagement Open

Are you a farmer, rancher, agri-business owner, or an agriculture organization? Your input is wanted. 

The Agricultural Master Plan is a strategic, guiding document in the County that aims to identify and guide a long-term vision and policy framework for agriculture and land use planning in agricultural areas within the County.  

Your feedback is wanted on: 

The current state of agriculture in Rocky View County: 

  • Key policy area improvements
  • Services and program performance 
  • The Rocky View County Advantage   

Future state of agriculture in RVC:   

  • Master Plan vision and goals.  
  • Future priorities and ideas from the agricultural community   
  • Agri-business 

From generational planning, diversification to roadway infrastructure, to ag tourism and topsoil, and renewable energy like solar farms, your knowledge and input is wanted. 

There are 3 ways you can participate: 

  • Complete the online survey ➡ here. 
  • Attend an in-person workshop July 4, 6-8pm at County Hall  
  • Coordinate a phone call to talk through the topics with a member of the Agricultural Team, call 403-230-1401 or email agservices@rockyview.ca.
