Join us for an evening where we share the findings from the From the Ground Up research project, exploring mental and physical health care access in rural Rocky View County.
Over the past year, researchers from the Rehabilitation Robotics Lab at the University of Alberta, in collaboration with Woolliams Farms Ltd. and the Rural Heart Foundation, have spoken with farmers and rural families across the county to better understand the realities of rural life and the challenges of accessing health and wellness services.
This community event will share what we heard from the community, what these insights mean, and discuss possible next steps to strengthen health and wellbeing in rural Rocky View County.
The evening will include a short presentation of the research findings, opportunities for discussion, and time to connect with neighbours and community partners.
