About
Kevin Hanson was first elected to Council in 2017 and is a longtime Elbow Valley resident. He brings integrity and commitment to his role, with a practical, common-sense approach and a focus on good governance and accountability. Councillor Hanson’s priorities include listening to residents, improving service delivery, supporting responsible and sustainable growth, working effectively with regional municipal neighbours, and environmental stewardship. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and an Executive MBA. Outside of work, Councillor Hanson enjoys skiing, backpacking, cycling, golfing, photography, and woodworking.
