Sunny Samra has lived in the Conrich area with his family since 2012 and was first elected to Council in 2021. Following his re-election in 2025, he was elected as Reeve for a one-year term. Reeve Samra has an Engineering degree in Computer Science, has worked at IBM and Canada Revenue Agency, and is a licensed real estate professional. Since joining Council, Reeve Samra has been active in regional collaboration and intermunicipal partnerships, including work connected to the Prairie Economic Gateway Initiative. He is known for his community-focused approach and advocacy on issues such as growth, infrastructure, water, and local services. He has supported on-the-ground improvements that reflect resident priorities, including road safety enhancements, park amenities, and securing community grants.
