Samanntha Wright represents Division 4 and serves on a number of intermunicipal committees including Prairie Economic Gateway, Mountain View County, MD of Bighorn and the South-Central Rural Municipalities of Alberta. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Laurentian University and a postgraduate certificate in Public Relations from Humber College.
Samanntha is an advocate for open communication and community well-being, ensuring residents’ voices are reflected in County decisions. She is recognized for her pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to rural and residential development issues and is deeply committed to protecting the rural lifestyle and fostering inclusive engagement.
At the 2025 Council Organizational Meeting, Samanntha was elected by her peers to be the Deputy Reeve for the next year.
