Samanntha Wright is currently serving her third term on Council after first being elected in 2017. Following her re-election in 2025, Wright was appointed as Deputy Reeve for a one-year term. Deputy Reeve Wright holds a BA in Political Science and English, a Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Communications, and a Women in Leadership Certificate. A dedicated and highly engaged community advocate, she brings a principled, resident‑first approach to governance, championing transparency, fiscal responsibility, and long‑term decision‑making. Deputy Reeve Wright is committed to protecting environmentally sensitive areas and preserving the County’s agricultural heritage while supporting responsible, well‑planned development that reflects community values and ensures growth occurs only where it is viable and sustainable.
