About
Alison Whiting was elected for her first Council term in 2025. She brings a Master of Science in Management degree and 15 years of private and public sector policy work to the role, including experience as a civil servant with the provincial government and a Policy Advisor at Mount Royal University. Councillor Whiting’s priorities include putting residents and existing communities first, protecting the County’s rural landscape and agricultural lands, and ensuring smart planning for sustainable, rural-focused growth. She enjoys spending time outdoors and attending community events with her family.
