About
Don Kochan represents Division 2 and brings extensive public-sector and engineering experience to the role. He previously served as Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Canmore and has lived in West Rocky View for over 28 years.
Don’s career spans municipal administration, infrastructure consulting, and community planning. On Council, he is an active member serving many committees including the deputy reeve position in previous years. Don is known for his calm, analytical approach to complex issues. He enjoys participating in community events like the Pioneer Acres Annual Show and is a life member of Alberta’s Professional Engineers and Geologists Association.
