COVID-19 Response Information

County Hall is open to the public, and we are following capacity and operational restrictions, and the most up-to-date guidelines issued by the Government of Alberta.

  • Masks are mandatory for all visitors and staff at County Hall.
  • COVID-19 protocols like enhanced cleaning and social distancing continue to be in place.
  • Visitors are asked to follow signage and on-site instructions.

In-person services are available for front counter, tax payments, building, planning, and meetings, however we encourage our customers to use the website, email, online meetings, and telephone to interact with us or to book an appointment. Contact your service department directly, call 403-230-1401, or email

We will adjust our plans as necessary to ensure the safety of our staff, residents, and visitors to our facilities, and provide appropriate updates relating to Rocky View County and our facilities.

As current provincial restrictions require mandatory masking in all indoor public spaces, workplaces, and placed of worship, we have provided printable face mask signage for use by businesses in the County, if needed:

Council / Boards & Committees

Although County Hall remains open to the public, under COVID 19 protocols and capacity limits, Council meetings and public hearings will begin to be held via video conference starting with the January 17 and 18, 2022 special Council meetings, in accordance with the Meeting Procedures (Covid-19 Suppression) Regulation.

Members of the public will not be permitted into the Council Chambers to attend or participate in meetings and hearings until Council returns to in-person attendance. Additional details are available on the Presenting to Council webpage.

Meetings and Public Hearing dates are available on the Council webpages.
