COVID-19 Response Information

Rocky View County is currently under an ‘enhanced status’ with Alberta Health and new measures including mandatory face masks are now in effect as of November 25, 2020. Specific details are available from the Government of Alberta.

Printable face mask signage is available for businesses in the County:

County Hall remains open to the public, however, appointments are recommended. Contact your service department or representative directly, call 403-230-1401 or email questions@rockyview.ca.

Face masks are now mandatory at all County facilities. Visitors to the County Hall are asked to follow all signage and on-site instructions.

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve, the health and well-being of our staff and community is a top priority.

Rocky View County’s Emergency Management team continues to be in close contact with Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Alberta Emergency Management Agency to monitor the situation and adjust the County’s actions as needed.

Council / Boards & Committees

Council, Board, and Committee meetings will continue to be held at the County Hall as scheduled, however public seating capacity will be reduced to a maximum of 10. If capacity is exceeded, members of the public will not be allowed to congregate in the lobby, but will be required to wait in their vehicles until space becomes available.

Recreation-focused facilities located throughout Rocky View County fall under new provincial guidelines and public health measures.
