Trailheads are located west of 12 Mile Coulee Road off of Blue Ridge Rise in Blue Ridge Estates, Bearspaw. Alternate parking also available off the north end of Bearspaw Village Road.
Lasso Trail offers a 2.0 km or 3.1-km loop trail meandering over open plains, through a steep ravine of switch back turns, thick aspen stands, and along a wetland. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 45 minutes to complete and boasts beautiful views of the mountains to the west. Rest areas are strategically located to enjoy the views the surrounding landscapes offer. This is a popular trail for walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. Dogs can be walked without a leash; however, owners must be able to control their dog using verbal commands.
