Range Road 283 & Range Road 284 (Rainbow Road)
Overview
Rocky View County, in partnership with the Province of Alberta, is upgrading the intersections at Glenmore Trail and Range Roads 283 and 284 (Rainbow Road).
These improvements respond to increasing traffic volumes, ongoing development in the area, and the need to enhance safety and traffic flow along this important corridor.
Project Improvements
The project includes:
- Traffic signal installation at both intersections
- Road widening and turning lanes
- Improved lighting and visibility
- Upgrades to pavement and drainage
Signalized intersections were selected based on updated traffic analysis and long-term growth projections.

What to Expect
