Rocky View County 4-H Scholarship

Each year, the County provides two $500 scholarships to 4-H members entering or returning to post-secondary education at any recognized institution and in any program of study, including apprenticeship. Recipients must have been a 4-H member in a Rocky View District club for at least three years and may only receive the scholarship one time during their post-secondary studies.

Apply online by May 15 through 4-H Alberta​.

Olds College Agricultural Scholarship

An annual Agricultural Scholarship is offered to encourage local young people to pursue a career in the agricultural field.

First and second year students studying Agricultural Production or Land & Water Resources at Olds College who are a resident of Rocky View County and are achieving a scholastic record (GPA) of 3.00 or better are eligible for this $500 award.

To apply for this scholarship, complete an online application form from Olds College.

The deadline is October 15 for fall awards and December 31 for winter awards.

The Association of Alberta Agricultural Fieldmen (AAAF) Memorial Bursary

This bursary encourages Alberta high school students to choose a career in agricultural or environmental sciences, and financially assists them while attending a program related to the duties of Agricultural Fieldmen at a postsecondary institution.
