Accepted Materials
Residential drop-off only; no commercial material accepted
- Cardboard
- Household and bulk waste (fees apply)
- Refrigerant and freon appliances (fees apply)
- Electronic recycling
- Household and automotive battery recycling
- Household paint and aerosol paint recycling
- Household lightbulbs and residential fluorescent tubes
- Propane tanks, 30 lb. and under
- Fire extinguishers
- Grain bags (must be rolled and secured with twine)
- Plastic twine (must be free of debris and in clear bags. Bags are available from site staff)
- Wire (must be rolled and free of debris)
- Newspaper
- Mixed paper
- Glass
- Metal
- Plastic
- Branches* - less than 6 in. diameter (no stumps, these would be garbage) [May 1 - Oct. 31]
- Grass and Leaves (May 1 – Oct. 31 only)
Now accepting organic materials:
- Food, including peels and meat bones
- Chopsticks, popsicle sticks, and toothpicks
- Pizza boxes
- Paper towels and tissues
- Pet food
- Paper plates and napkins
- Compostable straws and cutlery
- Coffee filters and tea bags
- Grease, oils, sauces
*Limit of one truck load per day. More material will be accepted towards the end of the day if there is bin capacity.
Items that will not be accepted include:
- Non-paint related aerosols
- Household hazardous waste
- Used motor oil, containers and filters (will be included at a later date this year)
