Rocky View County is pleased to announce the launch of its new municipal website on November 13, 2025. After 15 years, the updated website provides improved navigation, enhanced search, filter tools, built-in accessibility features, a smoother user experience and a range of new tools to better serve residents, businesses, and visitors.
The website is the County’s primary communication tool in sharing information with key audiences.
The new website reflects Rocky View County’s commitment to making information easier to find. An improved online experience that enhances transparency, accessibility, and participation in civic life.
Key features of the new website include:
- Council transparency: a website integration with the eScribe tool allows residents to easily access Council meetings, agendas, and minutes online.
- Improved navigation and search: site structure and search functions were improved to fix gaps and make it easier to find information.
- Refreshed content and design: several key webpages were edited and restyled for clarity and accessibility, while the overall design uses a municipal-focused theme with customizations that reflect Rocky View County’s unique identity.
- Community calendar: members of the public can now submit events directly, to be added to the County’s community calendar, fostering local engagement.
- Mobile friendly: information is easily accessible across devices.
- Enhanced Search Engine Optimization: information will be discoverable through google.
