2025 Election Results

2025 Municipal Election – Official Results: 12 noon - October 24, 2025

Rocky View County has released the official results of the 2025 Municipal Election.

After releasing unofficial election results on election night, October 20, Rocky View County has now submitted its official results to the provincial government as required by the Local Authorities Election Act. A careful review of the unofficial election results has confirmed the final outcome, with the successful candidates remaining unchanged from election night results.

Overall, a total of 9,333 Rocky View County residents cast their ballots during this year’s election, representing a voter turnout of around 27.34 % from an estimated 34,132 eligible voters. This represents a 7.69 % decrease from the 2021 Municipal Election. View the official Election results at www.rockyview.ca/elections

“Participating in democracy at the local level is one of the most important ways that we can help shape the future of our communities,” said Tyler Andreasen, Returning Officer for Rocky View County. “I would like to thank every Rocky View County resident who took time to vote in our municipal election.”

“We sincerely thank the 21 candidates who put forward their names and shared their visions for Rocky View County, as well as the 170 election workers who worked tirelessly to ensure that our voting stations ran smoothly, and our results were accurate and timely,” added Andreasen. “Their dedication and professionalism ensured our Election was conducted with integrity and efficiency.”

The newly elected Council will be sworn in at County Hall at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 28, during Rocky View County’s 2025 Inauguration and Organizational Meeting. After being sworn in, Council will proceed to choose a Reeve and Deputy Reeve and make board and committee appointments.
