Utility Rates

Rates and fees are set by the annual Master Rates Bylaw (PDF)


Make a Payment

  • Pre-authorized bank withdrawal: You may pay your bill automatically through your bank account by using the enrolment form below. Completed forms can be emailed to utilities@rockyview.ca.
  • Online or telephone banking: Most financial institutions have Rocky View County listed as a payee through internet or telephone banking. When setting up your payment details, be sure to use all ten digits of your account number, without the decimal point. Please allow two to three business days for online or telephone payments to be processed.
  • In person: You can pay your utility bill at County Hall by cash, cheque, debit, or credit card. A night drop box is available for cheque payment after hours. Please include your bill stub or account number with your payment.
  • By mail: Make cheques payable to Rocky View County and mail your payment to the address below. Please include your bill stub or account number with your payment. Do not mail cash.

Overdue Payments

Your payment must be received by Rocky View County on or before the due date shown on your utility bill. A penalty will be applied to any outstanding account balances. After 60 days, unpaid charges may be transferred to the property tax roll of the affected property.

Create a Utility Account

To sign up for a utility service provided by the County, you need to create an account.

Utility account numbers are specific to the property; not to the customer. If you move to a new property in Rocky View County, your utility account number will change. If you pay your bill online or by telephone banking, be sure to update your utility account number with your financial institution.
