Agriculture Roundups

Ag Roundups are one-day events to collect agricultural materials for recycling. These are held during the summer months at various locations throughout the County.


Household Hazardous Waste

Household Hazardous Waste includes items such as paint, oil and oil containers, unused chemicals, cleaners, aerosol cans, and other toxic waste. Year-round hazardous waste collection is offered at Bragg Creek, Langdon, Irricana, and Cochrane Transfer Stations.


Yard Waste

Yard waste is short cuts of brush and branches, grass and leaves for composting. Currently, compost areas at the Crossfield, Cochrane, Bragg Creek, Langdon, and Irricana Transfer Stations collect yard waste.


Community Litter Pick-Up Program

Host your own litter pick-up event! 

Available from May to June, participating Rocky View County communities or groups, can receive supplies, like bags and gloves. The County can also help communities with litter pick-up safety tips and advertising. 


Holiday Waste & Recycling

Christmas trees, gift wrap, and other items make for extra waste during the holiday season. You can drop off these items for composting, recycling, or garbage disposal at locations across the County.
