    The Delacour Hall is a hub for the area. It is wheelchair accessible and can hold 150 people downstairs. The upstairs games room has two pool tables and a shuffle board, and can hold 60 – 80 people. It has a large commercial kitchen. For more information, call 403.285.9463.

Fire Stations

Delacour is serviced by Langdon Fire Station 111 which is a volunteer station providing fire coverage for the southeast area of the County. Fire response may also be provided by Irricana Fire Station 108.

History

The Hamlet of Delacour was named for the foreman of the Grand Trunk Railway, a Mr. De Lacour. A small store and local postal service was established about 1914. The Delacour hall was constructed in 1927 until a fire destroyed it in 1978.

In 1982, a new large two storey hall was built. The hall continues to serve the area keeping community spirit alive.
