Help Shape the Next Policy Framework set to replace the Canadian Agricultural Partnership Funding in April 2023

Feedback is being gathered to help inform the development of the Next Policy Framework, set to replace the Canadian Agricultural Partnership in April 2023, and continue investing in Alberta’s agriculture industry.

Phase 1 feedback helped inform government priorities that were considered when negotiating the policy statement at the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers of Agriculture Conference in November 2021.

During phase 2, representatives of Alberta’s agriculture, agri-food and agri-products sector will have opportunities to share feedback on the 5 priority areas identified in the Guelph Statement, a policy document endorsed by the federal, provincial, and territorial agriculture ministers to help guide the development of the Next Policy Framework.

The Canadian Agricultural Partnership is a $3 billion 5-year investment by federal, provincial, and territorial governments to strengthen and grow Canada's agriculture and agri-food sector.
