From time to time Rocky View County reviews and amends bylaws that have a broad scope in order to deal with new trends and issues and to make improvements to the regulations. Currently, the County is reviewing the following bylaws:
- There are currently no non-development-related bylaws under review.
- Development-related bylaws currently being considered are advertised in the Rocky View Weekly.
Land Use Bylaw Review
The County is reviewing of the content and structure of the Land Use Bylaw to find opportunities to streamline, improve readability, and create a more user-friendly document. This process will result in a new Land Use Bylaw.
Proposed Regional Stormwater Off-Site Levy Bylaw Changes
Rocky View County is undertaking a review of the Regional Stormwater Off-site Levy Bylaw.
Proposed Transportation Off-Site Levy Bylaw Changes
Rocky View County is proposing changes to the Transportation Offsite Levy Bylaw to help fund improvements to the County’s regional transportation network and offset the impact development has on County resources.
