Notice of Special Council Meetings

In accordance with section 194(1)(a) of the Municipal Government Act and section 22 of the Procedure Bylaw, the Reeve may call a special Council meeting whenever the official considers it appropriate to do so. This notice to Council under section 194(4) of the Municipal Government Act and will be made available on the County’s website to serve as notice to the public.
A number of public hearings, in December 2020 and January 2021, were cancelled due to the County Hall closure as a result of COVID-19. In order to reschedule these hearings, I, Dan Henn, Chief Elected Official, hereby call for three special Council meetings to be held on the following dates and times to consider the following matters:
February 2, 2021 Special Council Meeting
To be held electronically starting at 9:00am and livestreamed via www.rockyview.ca
Matters to be heard:
- Public hearing for Bylaw C-8082-2020 (planning application PL20200093)
- Consideration of the associated Scott Property Master Site Development Plan (planning application PL20200094)
February 16, 2021 Special Council Meeting
To be held electronically starting at 9:00am and livestreamed via www.rockyview.ca
Matters to be heard:
- Public hearing for Bylaw C-8090-2020, being the Municipal Development Plan
- Public hearing for Bylaw C-8031-2020, being the North Springbank Area Structure Plan
- Public hearing for Bylaw C-8064-2020, being the South Springbank Area Structure Plan
March 2, 2021 Special Council Meeting
To be held electronically starting at 9:00am and livestreamed via www.rockyview.ca
Matters to be heard:
- Public hearing for Bylaw C-8051-2020 (planning application PL20200031)
- Consideration of the associated Mountain Ash Summit Pit Master Site Development Plan (PL20200034)
