Libraries

Rocky View County participates in the Marigold Library System. Benefits include:

  • A Marigold library card provides access to library materials at over 290 member libraries, including public, university, college and special libraries.
  • Residents with a valid library card can borrow library materials such as books, CDs, and DVDs from member libraries in Marigold and within The Regional Automated Consortium (TRAC) partnership between Marigold, Northern Lights, Peace, and Yellowhead Regional Library Systems.
  • Residents unable to visit a public library can register for L2U (Library to You) through Marigold to receive books-by-mail. Patrons receive a library card and can phone or email their preferred titles and select from a catalogue of over 900 items. Materials are delivered to the member’s mailbox free of charge.
  • Cardholders can access the TRACpac catalogue and electronic resources from home or anywhere else simply by entering their library barcode number from their library card and entering a four digit PIN number.
