Magic of Christmas - Toy Drive

Rocky View County Fire Services is proud to be part of the spirt of Christmas giving, sharing and caring! Until December 21, there are donation boxes at a number of Rocky View County’s fire stations for anyone to drop off new, unused, unwrapped gifts. This is the 7th year Rocky View County Fire Services has been involved with the Magic of Christmas - an organization that delivers gifts to over 4500 people young and old who are in care facilities.

Every Christmas Eve, Calgary Transit buses, magically transformed into “reindeer buses,” with hundreds of gifts and volunteers dressed as Santa and his elves. Then, they deliver Christmas spirit into the homes and hearts of those who need it most.

Want to donate gifts, but unsure of where to start? The Magic of Christmas visits Calgarians of all ages, from newborns to grandparents. If you need inspiration, please check out the Christmas Wish List for ideas, here.

Drop items off at the following Rocky View County Fire Stations:

  • Elbow Valley – 31040 Lott Creek Dr.
  • Springbank – 128 MacLaurin Dr.
  • Bearspaw – 31211 Lochend Pl.
