County Withdraws Appeal of Court of Queen’s Bench Ruling

Rocky View County has withdrawn the appeal of decision 2020 ABQB 406. This decision was in relation to the censure and sanctions of three councillors in 2019.
Mayor Kochan says, “The time has come for Council to move forward. Past concerns have been remediated and, as a newly elected council, we are committed to effectively working together to restore relationships both within Council and within our communities.”
