Thursday, October 16, 2025
Rocky View County is finalizing preparations for the 2025 Municipal Election, with Election Day taking place Monday, October 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Residents will elect one councillor for each of the County’s seven electoral divisions. School board trustee ballots will also be available for eligible voters.
Advance voting is now closed. Over the course of six days, 1,793 residents cast their ballot early, representing 4.79 per cent of the County’s eligible voters, up from 3.75 per cent in 2021. This year, Rocky View County offered six advance voting locations to improve access for residents, compared to just one location during the previous municipal election.
“Election 2025 is your opportunity to help shape the future of our communities,” said Tyler Andreasen, Returning Officer. “Whether you have already voted or are planning to vote on Election Day, your vote makes a difference. Take a moment to plan ahead, decide who you want to represent your community, and make sure to cast your ballot on October 20.”
