We are excited to announce that Rocky View County is launching a new self-service online portal for pet licensing – pets.rockyview.ca! This system simplifies managing your pet's license information, new licences, renewals, replacement tags, payments, and contact details like never before.
Getting Started is Simple: All existing dog licence holders are already set up in the portal. All you need to do is visit pets.rockyview.ca and login using your email address or cell phone number. A two-factor authentication code will be sent to you by email or text to ensure secure access.
Once logged in, please review and verify your details, and make any updates as needed. You can also add a secondary owner and up to two emergency contacts.
Why is it Important to Keep Your Licence Information Up to Date? Accurate information helps us reunite you with your pet quickly if it is ever lost. Including an emergency contact on your account means a greater chance of a fast reunion should your pet be found by someone else.
Payment and Renewal Options: Our new system offers a secure online payment option for your convenience. You can choose to receive renewal reminders by email or continue with traditional mailed invoices. If you have an outstanding balance, please clear it before using the online payment option. If you prefer other payment methods, you’re welcome to mail in a cheque or pay in person at County Hall.
Safe and Secure: To ensure the security of your information, a two-factor authentication step is in place for each time you log in.
