Water disruption in High Plains industrial area

At approximately 2pm on Friday November 29, 2024, a contractor working in the High Plains industrial area struck a water line. It immediately caused water disruptions to businesses in the High Plains business area. 

Rocky View County took immediate action to isolate and stop the water at the area impacted. Once isolated, water was restored to approximately 27 businesses. Work continues today. Rocky View County continues to monitor the situation including flow rates and reservoir levels to determine if there will be any further disruption to businesses. Update: Work on the water line strike in the High Plains Industrial Area was completed on Monday, December 2, 2024. Water service to all customers was fully restored, and reservoir levels are back to normal. Testing of the repair was completed Monday at 8 p.m.
