Round-Up Your Used Plastic Twine for a Chance to Win

From November 01, 2024, to May 31, 2025, CleanFarms is hosting a contest to help recycle twine! Rocky View County Transfer Sites will be accepting these materials.  Great Twine Round-up – Cleanfarms

Bring as much used plastic baler twine you can round-up, to a participating Alberta collection site for a chance to win a cash prize. The more twine you recycle, the better your chances of winning!  Every year, Alberta farms play a huge role in feeding the world, but they also use thousands of rolls of plastic baler twine to make it happen. Recycling that twine keeps plastic out of landfills and stops it from being burned, which is better for our health and the environment.

Not to mention, recycling uses far less energy than making new plastic, so it’s a win for the planet too. When you recycle your used plastic, you’re protecting our soil, water, and air—and creating a cleaner future for everyone, especially Alberta farms!

That’s why Cleanfarms, through the ‘Alberta Ag- Plastic. Recycle It!’ program, is rewarding those who step up to make a difference. By getting your farming community to recycle plastic baler twine, you’re showing the world what awesome Albertan farmers do—and you could walk away with some cash prizes while doing your part!
