Rocky View County Welcomes Residents at Open House

Rocky View County was delighted to welcome the many residents who came out to today’s pancake breakfast and open house. There were fire trucks and graders, games, a petting zoo, live entertainment, face painting, a STARS helicopter logo unveiling, and more.

Calgary Mayor Nenshi visited the Open House, and toured the new County Hall with Reeve Boehlke.
Councillor McKylor visits the popular rural petting zoo attraction.
Councillors Kamachi and McKylor, Reeve Boehlke, Councillor Gautreau, Deputy Reeve Schule, and Councillor Henn unveil the County’s logo on the newest STARS helicopter (with three STARS pilots in blue flight suits). The County is the only municipality in Central or Southern Alberta to have received this honour in recognition of ongoing support.
The County’s Pancake Breakfast & Open House was the first-ever public flight of the new STARS helicopter.
