Seed Annuals Now to Use for Fall Grazing

Environmental conditions have been making grazing and obtaining winter feed supplies a challenge this year. Perennial pastures that experienced stress last fall and into this spring have shown a decrease in forage yield. Karin Lindquist, forage and beef specialist at the Alberta Ag-Info Centre, explains how to extend the grazing season by using fall-seeded winter annuals.
