On Tuesday, January 28, 2020, both the Municipal District of Bighorn and Rocky View County held public hearings to consider the Intermunicipal Development Plan. Both Councils gave Second Reading to the Plan, approving it in principle.

Prior to final adoption, the Plan must be reviewed by the Calgary Metropolitan Regional Board. Pending the Board’s approval, the Plan will return for Third Reading and final adoption in the coming months.

A copy of the document is available for review below.
