Rocky View County Invites Residents to Fill Board & Committee Vacancies

Rocky View County is looking for residents interested in getting involved in their community by joining a board or committee. The deadline for applications is Friday, September 29, 2023.
Agricultural Service Board/Partnership Advisory Committee
- Vacancy to Fill: One member at large from east of Highway 2
- Term: Three years (expires 2026)
- Meetings: Five meetings held annually
Assessment Review Board
- Vacancy to Fill: Up to Seven members at large
- Term: Three years (expires 2026)
- Meetings: Meetings held as needed, typically during the summer and fall seasons
Bragg Creek FireSmart Committee
- Vacancy to Fill: Seven members at large
- Term: Three years (expires 2026)
- Meetings: Five meetings held annually
Subdivision and Development Appeal Board/ Enforcement Review Committee
- Vacancy to Fill: Two members at large; One alternate member at large
- Term: Three years (expires 2026)
- Meetings: Meetings held every third Thursday

All applicants, except for the Assessment Review Board, must be residents of Rocky View County to be eligible for appointment.
Appointments will be made at Rocky View County Council’s organizational meeting on Tuesday, October 17, 2023
Members are compensated in accordance with Board and Committee Member Compensation and Reimbursement Policy C-221 which can be found at www.rockyview.ca/policies or by emailing legislativeservices@rockyview.ca
Members are expected to follow Code of Conduct Bylaw C-7855-2018 which can be found at https://www.rockyview.ca/bylaws or by emailing legislativeservices@rockyview.ca
