Rocky View County Shares 'What we Heard' Report

Rocky View County Citizen Satisfaction Survey Results are now available.

The survey was conducted this past spring to better understand the experiences, views, and priorities of residents.

“Public feedback is vital to ensuring Rocky View County’s strategic planning, budgeting, and issues management align with the wants and needs of residents,” said Mayor Don Kochan. “My thanks to all residents who took the time to share their voice, your contributions are valued.”

A total of 1,540 residents and homeowners completed this survey and shared their ideas on the roads, taxes, policing, recreation, environment, waste management, communication, growth and development. Almost 90 per cent of residents polled feel they have a good or very good quality of life in Rocky View County.

Quick Facts

  • The survey was conducted from March 21 to April 17 by Leger – an independent third-party organization that specializes in market research.
  • Residents received a card in the mail with a unique pin code and an online link to complete the survey. Some residents also received phone a call.
  • The last Citizen Satisfaction Survey conducted by Rocky View County was in 2009.
  • The next Citizen Satisfaction Survey will take place in the spring of 2024.
