Here is a brief summary of the decisions of Rocky View County Council at the February 27, 2018 Council Meeting. This is a general overview of decisions only. General Business
- Council passed the 2018 Operating and Capital Base Budget. Council will now consider new projects or initiatives before passing a final budget and setting tax rates in April.
- Council voted to direct just over $44,400 from the Langdon Recreation Special Tax to the North Bow Community Facility Board Quad Baseball Diamond Project to compete engineering drawings and cover development permit fees. Council also approved approximately $78,000 for future project management costs.
- Council established a Policy Review Subcommittee to review all Council policies before they are presented to the Policy and Priorities Committee. Councillors Wright, Henn Hanson, and McKylor will sit on the committee until Council’s regular October Organizational Meeting.
