2019 Alberta Soil Tour

This two-2-day event will focus upon the Central Alberta Region. The tour will start from Red Deer, and go southeast into the badlands area near Drumheller, finally returning to Red Deer.

The Alberta Soils Tour is an excellent training opportunity for those working with soils, whether the focus is on soil conservation, land reclamation, or agronomy. Experts will provide background on soil formation and the various soil profiles for each of the landscapes encountered during the tour. Various soil conservation, land habitat, and agronomy topics will be discussed.
